Happy Birthday Bill

Yesterday I went with some of my school's Shakespeare Club (which I am the secretary of, actually) to a celebration of William Shakespeare's 444th Birthday. He couldn't be there. Apparently he had struck stage gold and was busily writing away at his next hit play. We all ate cake anyway!

There was dancing.

And merriment. (Well. For some.)

And acting. (We watched a rehearsal for their upcoming show of Much Ado About Nothing. As a club we'll go see that on May 9th. I'm excited. I do love shakespeare, but I love it even more when it's free.)

And, of course, general tomfoolery. What would a birthday party be without tomfoolery?!
