Cake Week!

Cake week: it's better than Shark Week.

It's Cake Week here in Austin again. Aunt Leslie AND Kris had their birthday on Wednesday.

Tuesday night we went to BJ's and celebrated Leslie's birthday...


(She was able to blow out her two candles!)

and tonight I baked a belated cake for Kris (it has 20 candles that kind of are in a "20" shape!)


Kris was able to blow out all of her candles too.


(Kris is a winner!)

Both cakes were super delicious... and now that cake week has come to an end, I look forward to my own cake week in November!

P.S. Blood drive was a great success! It'll be back in the spring! (Those are some of my other pledge friends.)
