This evening I went to a sort of giant pep rally that the school throws every year for the Freshman. And while I'm technically not a freshman any more, it seemed like a good idea to go.
And I really did enjoy it! I sat with all of the Liberal Arts students (and cheered whenever they said the words "liberal arts" or "I'm from Austin") and listened to a bunch of speakers and watched the performances they had going on. At the end, the Longhorn Band marched up and performed... it was a lot of fun! (There's a fuzzy one of the band)
Afterward, I met up with some friends and we chatted on the steps of the tower. It was great to catch up with them.
