Time... or lack thereof

It's officially crunch time for the musical. There are seven days (-creepy voice- seven days....) until opening night of the musical. AHH. Considering I've been in rehearsal every day for the last two weeks, I'm thoroughly exhausted. All next week is tech rehearsals, starting tomorrow. -gack- My voice is failing me and I plan on sleeping until 2 tomorrow... when rehearsal begins. Yay.

-Proud- I got stung by a bee two days ago and I DIDN'T CRY. GO ME!

AND... I finished working on Newspaper 5. Again. The H drive crashed at school (and Y drive, for tha matter... H holds all the normal student's files and stuff, and Y is only for the Desktop Publishing students.) So we lost the Fifth newspaper (which we were going to send out the day that the drive crashed... Grrr...) So we all had to rewrite our articles and I had to re-place it all. (Placing is putting it together). So I finished that yesterday and essentially have the rest of the semester to relax.

Haha, we'll see if it turns out that way, anyway...

That's all for now. Class is going to end soon.

Au revoir, bloggy!

Hair rollers, gold nailpolish, and dresses, OH MY!

PROM. PROM. PROM. PROM. PROOOOOM!!!!!!!!

Tonight is PROM! and I'm so excited! At the moment I have my hair up in rollers (sexy; I know.) and my nailpolish is all intact (so far; I did it last night while babysitting. Yay.) and I'm just waiting for my friends to get their butts to my house to get ready. (yayayayayayayay) They sure are moving slowly; in two hours we have to be at Cam's house. But they should be getting here soon. (NOW, PLEASE.)

Can you tell I can barely contain myself?)

Will update later/soon, I am sure.

RED LIGHT!

Okay, I admit. I'm a murderer.

RIP spiders. ;)

Haha...

Lately, my life has been a Red-Light-Green-Light game. Basically, there will be a period of time during which I gogogogogogogo and then STOP! For the meantime, I am on a STOP. Easter break. Thank God. (Literally?)

Okay, so random. This guy who used to go to my school keeps IMming me and I want him to stop. GO AWAY...

I just dyed eastere eggs with my mom and brother. ^^ Makes me happy. Yay.

I went to the library today and they were having a huge sale. Hardback books were $1.50 and paperbacks were $.50.... Needless to say, I spent two hours in this tiny room examining every book in there. ;) I ended up spending $4.50 on five books.
1) 3 books in one: The Demon's Mistress, The Dragon's Bride, and The Devil's Heiress; By Jo Beverly. I figure 3 books for 50 cents is better than not at all. If I don't like them... so what? It was 50 cents!
2) Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur; It's something about werewolves and vampires. Again, I don't really know how good it'll be... but it costed 50 cents!
3) First Impressions by Jude Deveraux. I actually read this a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jude Deveraux is one of those romance authors that has an actual plot to back up the romance. Not very graphic, either.
4) The Riddles of Shakespeare's Sonnets. It analyzes them and lists all 154 of them or whatever. I really like Shakespeare...
5) The Elizabethan Love Sonnet; Shakespeare and others (Wyatt, Surrey, Sidney, and Spenser).

One of my new favorite sonnets is Shakespeare's 154.

The little Love-god lying once asleep
Laid by his side his heart-inflaming brand,
Whilst many nymphs that vow'd chaste life to keep
Came tripping by; but in her maiden hand
The fairest votary took up that fire
Which many legions of true hearts had warm'd;
And so the general of hot desire
Was sleeping by a virgin hand disarm'd.
This brand she quenched in a cool well by,
Which from Love's fire took heat perpetual,
Growing a bath and healthful remedy
For men diseased; but I, my mistress' thrall,
Came there for cure, and this by that I prove,
Love's fire heats water, water cools not love.

I especially like the last line. Very romantic. -sigh-

I'm going to sink into my little Shakespearean world right now.

Fare thee well...
